We had a wonderful flight from Saskatoon to Lima. We even arrived earlier than expected and had to wait at Lima airport for our rides to the hotel.
As I had an intestinal bug before we flew, we took it easy yesterday and today I am preparing for my first teaching session at our campus in Surco-Lima, which is at Iglesia Biblica Emmanuel. I will be teaching on a Christ-centred Life. So many in the church of today do not know what is means to be IN Christ. They are attending a Christian church regularly, following the church`s teachings, but are never taught how to BE in Christ. They are missing the boat... The church needs to know what it means to DISCIPLE newly born again Christians. God wants us to make disciples, not church members..... God wants tus to make disciples, not get individuals saved...... And to make disciples does not mean to teach pet doctrines...... It means to teach people who they are IN Christ so that they can live IN Christ and be IN Christ. That will be the main theme on our classes in Surco.
On Sunday, I will be preaching in three separate services. More about that in one of our next blogs.
