Last evening, we said goodbye to Christopher, who left back for Canada after a short-term stay of about 2 weeks. He had a wonderful time and he is intending to come back to Peru if and when he can (he says at least once a year). He caught the "short-term missions" bug!!! PTL!
This week we are having a number of future ministry planning meeting. On Sunday I will be preaching in a new church in Northern Lima, Iglesia Biblica Emmanuel. They are planning the formation of a new mega-church in that area of Lima. Currently, they have about 500 members.
We are also wrapping up our pilot project with social housing for single moms. Hannelore has done a wonderful job coordinating all the workers (carpenters, painters, glass installers, cement specialists, etc...) and she has also kept the financial records. If I did not have her, I would not have been able to preach and teach as I did. Thanks Hannelore.
I, personally, am facing some major medical problems. I will inform you about that when I come back to Canada in about two weeks. Please pray for me.
